Years 1 and 2
You’ll study the basics of a variety of engineering disciplines, materials, mathematics, design principles and production and management.

Years 3, 4 and 5
You’ll gain experience of product and process design. Specific topics include computer-aided design (CAD), mechatronics, advanced production technology and supply chain management.

Throughout the course, you’ll experience group and individual project work. You’ll also choose a final-year project relevant to your course.

In Year 3 you’ll have the option to study in Australia, Canada, North America, Singapore or a location in Europe.

Standard entry:
4 Highers at AAAA including Maths and Engineering Science or Physics plus English at National 5. Higher English recommended.

Widening Access entry:
4 Highers at AAAB including Maths or Engineering Science or Physics plus English at National 5. Higher English recommended.
