This fully accredited Construction Project Management degree will develop your technical, managerial and interpersonal skills necessary for the management of complex construction projects. The distinctive, industry-driven curriculum equips you with the competencies needed to meet the challenges of today’s technologies, working relationships and project-related risks.

Stages 1 and 2:
You will be introduced to the core discipline and processes of Construction Project Management theory and practices. You will develop an understanding of how to manage complex design processes from concept design through Building Information Systems (BIM) to detail design, procurement, construction and post completion maintenance and decommissioning. Skills in consultancy and research in the Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC) sector will be enhanced.

You can exit after Stage 1 with PgCert Construction Project Management.

You can exit after Stage 2 with PgDip Construction Project Management.

Stage 3:
You will undertake an industry based research dissertation of 12-15,000 words which if appropriate, will normally be integrated into your place of work. The dissertation will develop your skills and intellectual abilities in the investigation, assessment, evaluation and interpretation of a variety of relevant source materials.

Entry Requirements

Normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent. Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
