The course contains the following mandatory units:

PC Passport: Internet and On-line Communications, Computing: Office and Personal Productivity Applications, Computing: Computer Hardware and Systems, Computing: Digital Media Elements for Applications, Numeracy National 5, Communications National 4

In addition, the students will undertake a range of optional units in the areas of web design, digital media, social software, networking or general computing. These options will vary by course location.

In some areas, the student may have the option to undertake one day per week work placement with a suitable employer.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

On completion of this course you may progress to Level 6 Computing with Digital Media or an HNC in Computing or Interactive Media.
