This exciting course is where contemporary art and new media collide and provides a foundation for you to develop your creative potential within the context of emerging technologies.

You will study a range of modules.

Traditional Drawing skills: Life Drawing; Development Drawing; Observational Drawing; Mixed Media.

Creative Digital Literacy: Digital Design and Drawing; Cybernetics and Interaction Design; Creative Coding; Physical Computing; Robots/Avatars; Drawing Machines; Visualising Data as an Artist; Hacking; Computational Design; Virtual and Augmented Reality.

Contextual Skills: Art and Design History and Context; Visual Philosophy; Professional Practice; Industry Awareness.

Entry Requirements

Higher Art and Design plus National 5 English, or relevant NQ, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview. Portfolio of your work required.
