This new course (Digital Design) will develop your creative and technical skills, in the production of screen-based graphic design and media content for interactive and multimedia applications, such as web, mobile app, motion graphics and VFX.

During the course, you'll be taught by staff with significant Digital Media experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students.

The course is delivered mainly through practical projects in the studio and state-of-the-art labs, using industry standard software and techniques.

Subjects studied include: Digital Imaging; Graphic Design; Typography; Web Design; Digital Publishing Design; Social Media Design; Design Production; Motion Graphics; Mobile App Design;
Compositing and Visual Effects; 2D and 3D animation; Preparing a Professional Portfolio and CV;
New Media Projects; Client Initiated Design Project.

Entry Requirements

Higher Art and Design or Graphic Communication plus National 5 English, or relevant NC at SCQF Level 6. Interview. Portfolio of work required.
