This course will help you to develop the skills required for employment in the Aviation, or Airport Ground Industry. It covers everything from customer service and employability skills, to health and safety procedures.

You'll be awarded a City and Guilds Diploma in Air Cabin Crew Operations Level 2 after successfully completing the course.

You'll study:
Introduction to Airline/Aviation Operations; Airline Health; Safety and Security; Crew Room Duties; Role of Air Cabin Crew; Preparation for Employment as Air Cabin Crew and Airport Ground Operations.

You'll also learn languages as part of the course.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 including English; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Entry subject to successful interview.

Due to Airline Employment Restrictions candidates should be: aged 16 or above when starting the course, be taller than 5"2, have a valid passport and be fluent in spoken and written English. Some airlines have additional criteria.

Progression Routes

This course prepares you for a career as air cabin crew or airport ground staff. Successful students can progress onto NC International Travel, or HND in Travel and Tourism at the college.
