The MLitt in Environmental History explores human interaction with the non-human natural world within the context of a conceptually advanced study of history of science, medicine and environment.

Compulsory modules include: History in the making: theories, approaches and practices; and Global times - plural spaces (1 and 2).

Plus one from: Disease and environment (c.1500-2000); Environmental disasters: crisis, catastrophe and risk in the modern world (1755 to present); or Environmental history: nature and the western world (1800-2000).

2:1 Honours degree in history or a related discipline.
