Feel enriched by embarking on a course which will equip you with the methodology, language awareness, observed and graded teaching practice and knowledge of phonology to make a difference in the classroom.

This is a practical course giving a good foundation in basic teaching techniques with 6 hours of assessed teaching practice. There is a minimum of 120 contact hours. The course includes 120 additional learning hours of independent background reading, assignment writing and lesson preparation. Full and part time options.

Trainees on our part-time courses will be given the opportunity to gain valuable skills by working as volunteers in our ESOL classes alongside our highly experienced teachers.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should be at least 20 years old, educated to entry-level higher education. If English is not a candidate's first language, a very high level of spoken and written accuracy is required (minimum CPE or a recent IELTS score of 7.0 overall, including 7.0 for written English).
