Levenmouth Campus
This course is aimed at those who wish to work in the automotive, mechanical, electrical, fabrication and welding, or manufacturing engineering industries and focuses on improving broad-based practical skills and knowledge with a hands-on approach throughout.
You will gain both the SQA engineering skills and the EAL Level 1 Engineering and Technology qualifications. These are pre-apprenticeship qualifications where you will gain a wide range of practical experience with some examples of the situations you could face in an industry role. The course is open to both school leavers and those looking to change or further their careers.
National 3 English, Maths and a technological subject, preferably including one at National 4 or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 3. Interview and aptitude test.
Subject to successful interview and completion of this course, you may progress onto an appropriate Level 5 Engineering Course for example NC Fabrication and Welding,
