This course will develop your skills and competence to a higher level across a wide range of modern engineering systems including electrical, mechanical, and mechatronics acting as a route to further study or employment. It's suitable if you are already working in the engineering industry and looking to progress towards professional engineering status.
You will study: Principles of engineering systems; Engineering measurement and systems monitoring; Engineering Maths 1 and 2; Dynamics; Graded unit 1 (Eng Systems); Communication: practical skills; Engineering communication; Thermofluids; Materials selection.
Higher Maths and 1 from Engineering Science, or Physics; or Foundation Apprenticeship Engineering; or NC Electrical Engineering; or Wind Turbine Maintenance at SCQF Level 6; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
