Content

BEng Engineering is a one-year programme designed to act as a route for students who wish to defer making a choice about a specialised engineering discipline until completion of Level 2. Students may select eight courses from the entire range of courses available to students on the engineering programmes.

In practice, students select courses from two or three disciplines. At the end of Level 1, BEng Engineers transfer to Level 2 of their chosen programme. The aim of this programme is to enable students to sample a range of engineering disciplines before choosing their degree profile.
