This course provides fundamental knowledge and practical skills required to progress within the Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering discipline.

Subjects:
Mathematics Craft 1; Engineering: Information Technology; Communications, Health and Safety; Dimensional Control; Manufacturing Processes; Industrial CNC Machining; Graphical Communications; Engineering Materials and Computer Aided Draughting; Pneumatics and hydraulics; Statics and mechanical engineering principles.

Successful completion of each subject involves a number of written and practical assessments.

Entry Requirements

National 5 English, Maths and a technological subject; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5 plus completing an aptitude test.
