This Level 5 NPA Construction course provides progression from the Level 4 NQ Introduction Skills in Construction course and is supported through our partnership with Morrison Construction and the Bell group. Though the coursework is predominately covered in the workshop health and safety, and the principles of building construction will be undertaken in class. CSCS trainee cards will be awarded to those who maintain a high standard throughout the course.

There are many construction opportunities for those who are enthusiastic and appropriately trained. The ability to problem solve, construct and manufacture construction projects effectively will enhance employment opportunities within the industry.

Entry Requirements

National 4 Craft and Design with preferably National 4 English and Maths, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4.

Progression Routes

Relevant NC or HNC course, or a craft apprenticeship in a construction trade.
