This SVQ 3 in Youth Work is work based and has a structured, but flexible, delivery. Students are assessed in the workplace to allow you to demonstrate your competence within a youth work setting.

This award meets registration requirements for Scottish Social Services Council for Youth Workers. The SVQ in Youth Work helps to develop skills and knowledge already gained in a Youth Work setting.

Entry Requirements

You should work with young people and hold SVQ Youth Work at SCQF Level 5, or equivalent, and have suitable supervisory experience.
