You will learn a wide set of employability and technical skills across various platforms and have access to Edinburgh College state-of-the-art broadcast media facilities including; TV studios, green-screen rooms and access to top-of-the-range cameras, microphones and recording equipment.

Sound Production: Sound Reinforcement; Multi Media Computing; Camera: an Introduction; Sound: an Introduction; Lighting: an Introduction: Editing: an Introduction: Social Videography; Intro to AV Technology; Animation for AV Graded Unit 1; Computer Hardware: Building a Network PC; Sound Production: Multi Track Editing Own Programme; Multi Camera Production: Support Roles; Multi Camera: Vision Mixing; Work Experience; Audio Visual Systems; News Gathering; Web Design Project; Advanced Compositing; Motion Graphics Graded Unit 2.
2 Highers preferably including English, Maths or a science subject. Or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Portfolio and written task.
Degree course in media technology, film and TV, communications. Employment as a technician. HND students may go on to AV Media and production work or employment in Corporate and independent TV
