This course is suitable for students who want to learn more about parks, gardens and landscapes, including working with plants. The course will be valuable for students who want work with gardens, fruit, vegetables and bulbs. It’s a practical course which also has some basic academic units which help students deepen their knowledge.

The Essential Skills units help students with numbers and language and other core skills needed for the modern worker.

Areas of study include:
Horticultural Machinery; Landscaping Preparation and Aftercare; Fruit and Vegetable Production; Garden design; Plant identification.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements although you will possess a real passion for plants. Interview.
