Why we write, what do you want to write, how to get started; How to create characters that we want to read; Plotting: how do stories work; Point of view: what angle are you going to use to tell the story; Flash fiction; Poetry.

At the end of the course, students will be asked to read a piece of their creative writing. The course also covers, what to do next, how to keep going, publishing, Kindle, competitions, setting up a writing group.
