The aim of the HNC course is to provide you with a husbandry-based programme in production agriculture which, in combination with practical experience and guidance from a manager, will enable you to undertake the running of a farm enterprise.

You will study a wide range of subjects including modules such as Arable Crop Production, Farm Power, Livestock Breeding, Soils and Crop Establishment and Financial Records for Business.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers at CC preferably including Geography or a science subject plus English and Maths at National 5; or NC Agriculture; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
