This course will give you an insight into the type of work covered day to day as a Furniture tradesperson. It’s designed to prepare you for employment making it a great choice if you’re a school leaver or unemployed. The course acts as a stepping stone to the Furniture trade classes although at this stage employment within the industry is not requirement but might assist you to gain an apprenticeship with an employer. In preparation for entry into one of the trade classes you should be actively seeking an employer in the construction industry to acquire an apprenticeship during their time on the NC Furniture Course.

There’s also could be the opportunity of practical work experience with an employer allowing you to spend time with a Furniture company to get a feel for the Joinery trade on live jobs.
