The HNC in Construction Management develops knowledge and skills in areas such as building measurement and cost studies, building science, building services, construction materials and specifications, as well as health and safety in construction.

Candidates will gain contemporary vocational skills including study, research, analysis, planning and organisational skills. They will also learn to take responsibility for their own learning, developing abilities to be flexible and work co-operatively with others.

The course is taught within a classroom environment with practical experience gained from workshops, field trips and site visits.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths or a science subject; or NC Built Environment; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
