This course is designed to provide students with a range of skills, industry-recognised qualifications and certificates that will assist them in the pursuit of a construction-related apprenticeship.

You will focus on Bricklaying, Joinery and Painting and Decorating Trades which have been selected to give an insight to various aspects of the construction industry along with the specific qualifications required to work on site.

This course differs from other pre-apprentice courses in that it broadly focuses on three trades rather than a sharper focus on only two.

This course is split into two parts, student will study for a City and Guilds Certificate in part one, and upon successful completion will progress onto a City and Guilds Diploma in part two.

Entry Requirements

National 4 qualifications in Construction or similar technical discipline would be an advantage to prospective students.
