Civil engineering embraces construction, construction engineering, structural engineering and other specialist areas. It covers both practical and theoretical learning in subjects such as surveying, setting out and linear surveys and offers an introduction to site establishment, comprehensive training on materials, sciences and the ground and soil that substructures require.
