The course covers 8 HN Units in Advanced level Carpentry and Joinery. Your knowledge and experience will be enhanced in a wide variety of construction, woodworking principles and techniques. The units you will cover as are follows:

Stairs with tapered treads, complex pitched roofs, specialist doors, measuring and setting out, windows and screens, sustainable building technologies, communication skills, computer aided drawing (Paisley only), high class joinery finishes (Clydebank only).

Entry Requirements

SVQ Carpentry and Joinery at SCQF Level 6.
