In a world where just about everything is digital, there is an increased need for skilled workers to support a growing digital economy.

The HNC Computing is a broad-spectrum course that will provide you with a good foundation in a range of computing related disciplines to prepare you for progression on to an HND, university or related work within the Computing Industry.

You will gain knowledge and skills in areas related to Software Development, Computer Networking, Web design, Linux Operating Systems and Cyber Security. Delivery is on a full-time basis to include lectures, practical tutorials and self-study sessions.

Entry Requirements

2 relevant Highers plus 4 relevant subjects at National 5; or relevant computing related Foundation Apprenticeship; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. All applicants will attend for interview.

Progression Routes

Year 2 HND Computer Science or Technical Support options for HND Computer Networking or Software Development.
