This course offers plenty of rewarding challenges for those who soak up technical knowledge, put it to practical use and have good analytical skills to diagnose problems quickly.

There is a mix of theoretical and practical aspects to this course including:

Year 1 - Will involve creating local area networks which will improve your practical skills, working in groups building client server networks using Windows 10 and Server 2012. Cisco Semester 1 and software development are key components to this year to gain the broad level of knowledge required for these roles.

Year 2 – Following on from year 1 you will continue on your Cisco journey completing semesters 2, 3, and 4. Gaining real life experience configuring routers and switches in our Cisco lab using command line. Intrusion Prevention and Security are key components to this year also.

Access to Cisco Net Academy will be provided allowing you to undertake the Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching qualification after completion of all 4 semesters with the opportunity for a discounted voucher for exams with a pass rate of 75% on first attempt of qualifying course final exam.
