This programme is designed for graduates with a background in economics who want to develop a solid understanding of policy analysis, design and management relevant to developing countries.

You will develop significant quantitative skills and a thorough understanding of the main models related to economic growth and development. It will help equip you for further academic research in this field or for an internationally oriented career as development economist.

Entry Requirements

A 2:1 Honours degree in economics or in a related discipline, including development studies with 15% of credit bearing modules in Economics or Development Studies at 2.1 or equivalent.
