The Masters in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry will extend your depth and breadth of knowledge in all branches of chemistry, but with some specialisation in medicinal chemistry, suitable for a professional medicinal chemist capable of conducting research.

Core courses include: Inorganic chemistry; Physical chemistry for Chemistry and Mathematics; Organic chemistry; Medicinal chemistry; Frontiers of chemistry; Research skills; and Chemistry special topics.

Entry Requirements

Normally at least a 2.1 Honours degree in chemistry (or equivalent).

Please note BSc and MSci Chemistry and BSc and MSci Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry graduates from the University of Glasgow should not apply for this programme.
