This course is for candidates whose first language is not English, but who need to develop their ability to use English in a broad range of personal and social contexts.
While on the course, candidates will develop their level of competence in the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing in English for personal and social purposes. They’ll develop their grammar skills appropriate to this level.
SCQF Level 3 certificate in English for Speakers of Other Languages or completion an ESOL Initial Assessment (with a college lecturer) prior to beginning the course.
