With an even spread of accounting, administration and IT and business units, the NQ Business, Finance and IT level 6 course aims to draw out your strengths and provide direction in terms of further study and/or employment. Throughout the course you will gain a firm foundation in key subject areas such as economics, law, enterprise and book-keeping.

Contents include: Accounting: Financial, management and book-keeping; Economics; Finance and human resources; Marketing and operations; Employment law; Business enterprise; Communication; Preparing for work; IT (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and Access); Personal development activities.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 including English and a maths based subject, or relevant Foundation Apprenticeship, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.

Progression Routes

Relevant HNC or HND.
