This course will provide you with a sound grounding within the three core areas essential to any applied sports scientist, being Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics and Sports Psychology.

Alongside these key areas, you will also gather an introduction to other essential components and gain practical experience that will enable you to develop skills that will benefit any level of performer. There is the opportunity to undertake a work placement as part of this course.

Standard entry:
4 Highers at BBBB including one from Biology (or Human Biology), Chemistry, Physical Education, Physics or Psychology at B plus Maths at National 5.

Widening access entry:
4 Highers at BBCC including one from Biology (or Human Biology), Chemistry, Physical Education, Physics or Psychology at B plus Maths at National 5.

For entry to year 2 you require 3 Advanced Highers at BCC including one from Biology (or Human Biology), Chemistry, Physical Education, Physics or Psychology plus Maths at National 5.
