The HNC Hairdressing course is designed for those with previous hairdressing experience.

It will enhance your knowledge and understanding of hairdressing while developing your skill set and technical ability in line with current industry standards to ensure you are up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and best practice.

A social media unit is also incorporated into the course to ensure you are showcasing your skills effectively across various social media platforms whilst building your personal brand.

During this HNC Hairdressing course you will learn:
Classic and creative cutting; Principles of colouring; Hair and scalp treatments; Social media; Work placement; Creative long hair looks; Graded unit 1.


Entry Requirements

NC Hairdressing (Level 6) or other relevant qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and skills test.

You must secure a work placement prior to commencing the course. This must be working at least one day a week in a salon for the duration of the course.
