This Advanced Certificate course offers an excellent introduction to the media and communication/ media production industries. You will develop practical, analytical and problem solving skills for the creation of media content. In response to creative briefs you will use a variety of tools to provide the creative solution.
You will become confident in knowledge and skills for Video recording and editing, Audio recording and editing for Podcast or Interviews and Radio features as well as understanding the different roles and occupations within a creative project team. Everything from Social Media, to marketing and advertising you'll create the perfect platform to get the right message across.
4 subjects at National 5 including English or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Portfolio of work.
Success on this course would normally lead to HNC/D Media and Communication.
