The HND Additional Support Needs aims to embrace the needs of the sector and to reflect current initiatives and directives in this field. This course will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively in this field.
In year 1 you will complete the HNC Additional Support Needs award and in Year 2 you will complete the HND Additional Support Needs.
2 Highers; or Foundation Apprenticeship in Social Services (Children and Young People); or NC Childhood Practice (Early Education and Childcare) (Level 6); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
