Year 1
Electricity Power Systems; Electrical Safety; Power Electronics; Application of Electrical and Electronic Devices; Communication: Practical Skills; Engineering Mathematics 1.
Year 2
Electrical Machine Principles; DC and AC Principles; Three-Phase Systems; Electrical Engineering: Graded Unit 1; Information Technology: Applications Software 1.
Higher Maths and Physics or another science subject, or NC Electrical Engineering (Higher), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
Relevant HND or degree-level studies in electrical engineering such as Year 2 BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Heriot-Watt University
