The new "Into Childcare" course is designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge required by employers and service users to increase the number of childcare workers in the local area. You will develop skills and knowledge in a number of childcare subjects that will prepare you for working with young children.

It will also prepare you for the possibility of taking your learning to a higher level by progressing to NC and HNC courses should you wish to further your skills (additional qualifications required).

Interest in working in early education and childcare.
