Set in the stunning surroundings of the Highlands, you will draw inspiration and gain practical experience in the fields of art and design. Taught by experienced tutors and professional artists in a studio setting, this course is for anyone wishing to explore their own creative practice in art and design.

Through practical experimentation, you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of art and design disciplines including expressive drawing, mixed media, printmaking, surface decoration, printed textile techniques and sketchbook practice.

Gaining technical experience and developing your own personal style, you will develop a portfolio of artwork that showcases your talents and may be used to apply for further study/ to create your own business venture/ or for personal satisfaction and achievement. The course culminates in an end of year exhibition given students a platform to share their work with the public.
