This course will offer you an overview of the skills required across a variety of engineering sectors. It is ideal for school leavers or career changers. This course consists of one semester of units from the Engineering: An Introduction (SCQF Level 4) course.

It will introduce you to the practical skills required across a range of engineering subjects including mechanical, electrical and electronic and supports you to make more a more educated decision about which engineering career you may wish to follow.

You will need to purchase PPE materials for this course of approx. £80 including safety workwear and glasses. Other essential PPE will be supplied. If you qualify for a bursary these costs will be covered.

Entry Requirements

National 3 or 4 Maths. Interview.
