This course will combine knowledge with practical experience taught by practising industry experts where you’ll learn in class as well as receiving real event experience at events throughout the year to help you pursue a career in the vibrant and dynamic world of the Music Industry. You'll enjoy location visits to venues, creating your own events and pitching to real life clients showcasing your entrepreneurial skills.

Evolving partnerships with artists; Driving innovation; Driving music's global growth locally; Audience development: building the fanbase.

Other key elements include:

Artists and musician development; How to recognise/be part of a thriving music scene; How to book and gain access to the right spaces and places; Record labels and other music-related businesses; Music history and identity; Recognition of music as an economic driver.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview.
