The course will enable you to learn the sector specific skills and knowledge required for a vibrant and exciting career in Events. Studying a highly sought-after qualification, recognised by industry professionals, you’ll study units encompassing a wide range of areas within the sector. By learning through independent study, tutor led-classes, group activities alongside practical hands-on event planning and organising, you will be well placed for a career in the industry or further study.

What you study:

Events: graded unit 1; Organising an event; Events industry: an introduction; Event legislation: safety and licensing; Event budgeting and funding; Using software application packages; Communication; Marketing; Exhibition planning and organisation; and Conferences.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher in English or an english related subject plus 3 subjects at National 5 including English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. You should be able to demonstrate relevant industry experience. Interview.
