The HNC in Food Science and Technology is designed to prepare candidates for employment in a scientific or technical capacity in the food and drink industry. It will provide candidates with the technical and scientific skills required by the food and drink industry and give them relevant background knowledge and understanding to help them make the best use of these skills in a commercial environment.
1 relevant Higher, preferably Biology or Chemistry, plus 3 relevant subjects at National 5, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
