Content

Intermedia art operates within a fine art context and is the area of artistic practice that lies between different media. During the late 20th century, developments within visual art introduced new processes and situations, which resulted in an expanded notion of artistic practice.

Our programme naturally encourages students to test boundaries and to introduce new vocabularies into the artistic conversation. You can work broadly across a number of different and overlapping areas which are all central to study within intermedia art. These may include sound, object making, installation, performance, publications and video.
