On this course you will develop creative skills in the application of make-up and learn the basics required to carry out treatments for the face, body, and nails. This course will allow you to explore the many different specialities and career paths open to you in this sector.

With a combination of both theoretical and practical learning, most of the teaching will take place in the college salon to build your experience of working with clients in a realistic work environment.

Facial Techniques; Facial Treatment Packages; Nail Finishes; Creative Current Make-up Trends; Depilation; Body Massage; Scalp, Neck, and Shoulder Massage; Eye Enhancements; Manicure and Pedicure; Acrylic Nails; Gel Nails; Wellness Therapies: An Investigation; Commercial Experience; Guidance.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
