Content

This course is suitable for school leavers or other young people looking to improve their skills in computing, digital media, web development, networking or computer games. It may also be attractive if you are a mature student wishing to change career direction or return to full-time study.

The course contains the following mandatory units:

Computing: Computer Hardware and Systems; Computing: Digital Media Elements for Applications; Computing: Applications Development; Computing: Project; Information Literacy; Network Literacy; Social Media Literacy.

In addition, you will undertake a range of optional units in the areas of web design, mobile technologies, digital media, networking or general computing. These options will vary by course location. Your core skills of communications and numeracy will also be developed.
