The Creative Music and Sound Production course introduces learners to the many skills and disciplines of audio engineering including: studio recording, live sound, sound design for film and games, sampling, synthesis, remixing and much more. This course is the perfect preparation for HN-level courses, providing the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art facilities within a professional industry-standard environment.
Units include: Sound engineering and production; Live sound; Synthesis and sampling; MIDI sequencing; Sound design; Music remixing; Recording studio techniques; Digital media.
2 subjects at National 5, English and Music Technology preferred, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4 or 5. Interview.
