The course is designed for those looking to move into their first formal team leadership role or those new to team leadership.

It will provide opportunities to develop competency and knowledge in providing direction and motivation to achieve consistent team success and to meet the needs of those who wish to develop as managers and leaders and includes a wide range of leadership and management units.

The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) has agreed to jointly certificate the PDAs.

Content may include:

Management: Leadership at Work; Creating a Culture of Customer Care; Marketing: An Introduction.

Entry Requirements

Individuals should be able to demonstrate good communications skills and be able to show an aptitude for studying at SCQF Level 6 or above. Applications will be discussed on an individual basis dependant on prior experience.
