This is an exciting course, which provides you with the skills and knowledge necessary to gain employment in the hospitality/events industry. This NQ Hotel, Restaurant and Bar Operations course focuses on developing your practical skills for the hospitality/events industry e.g. food and beverage service, front office, customer care, housekeeping, event organising and hospitality administration skills.

You will study:

Alcholic beverages; Hospitality reception services; Selling events products and services; Events industry: An overview; Food and beverage operations; Health and safety in hospitality; Numeracy; and Integrated project.

Entry Requirements

1 subject at National 5 plus 3 subjects at National 4 including English and Maths, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4 or 5. Interview.
