This course is for you if you are aged 16-20 with National 5 level ESOL (or equivalent) and who need to improve their English before progressing to further study in college or to employment.

You will also improve your knowledge and skills in science, ICT, and numeracy as well as developing study skills that will help support you in any future study. In addition, the course is designed to help you make the transition from school to further education.

Course topics include:

ESOL; Numeracy; ICT; Science*; Employability.

*for 2023/24 the focus will be on Biology.

Units are subject to change.

Entry Requirements

National 5 ESOL, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5

Progression Routes

Students may progress to further study in college or to employment.
