This course provides an introduction to the engineering sector including automotive, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, fabrication and welding, or manufacturing engineering, and is delivered in the comprehensive automotive workshops at the Stenton Campus Glenrothes. You will also develop many transferable skills, including time-management, communication, problem-solving and team-working. You will be continually assessed throughout the duration of the course. This course is suited to anyone who may require upskilling or a change in career and would like to enter the engineering sector. There is also a progression route onto other Engineering courses at Fife College.

Subjects Include:
Engineering Skills: Mechanical and Fabrication; Engineering Skills: Electrical and Electronic; Engineering Skills: Maintenance; Engineering Skills: Design and Manufacture.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English; Maths, Physics, Engineering Science or a technical subject preferred. Interview
