Working in a health care setting can provide a rewarding career choice. This course develops specialist knowledge, understanding and skills required to provide high quality supportive care for a wide range of adults. It provides opportunities to gain the formal qualifications needed to progress to HNC level study in relevant disciplines.

Social influences; Care values; Human development; Social influences; Practical skills for care; Reablement; Human biology; Communication; Numeracy; Information and communication technology.

4 subjects at National 5 including English and Maths or NC Child, Health and Social Care or relevant qualifications at SCQF Level 5; Interview
