Content

This course will teach you a comprehensive range of skills in art and design crafts with a large focus on art jewellery. You will be encouraged to develop your own creative ideas and will be taught how to translate these ideas into finished, 3D pieces of work.

The course will cover basic areas such as developmental drawing, body adornment, using non-precious materials and design work. There is a strong ethos of ethical making and sustainability, which will be embedded into your learning.

Alongside drawing and design work the course will cover basic areas such as a variety of metal forming techniques, surface decoration techniques, non-precious materials and design communicated through samples and sketchbook work.
